HOW DOES THE REFUND PROCESS WORK?

Step 1 - Complete the Payroll Tax Refund Questionnaire

Step 2 - Sign Confidentiality Agreement and Upload your Data

I will email you a secure link to upload your documents. You will be prompted to log into Dropbox. If you don’t have a Dropbox account, you’ll be prompted to create a free one.

Please upload the following documents:

1. Form 941’s for all quarters (Q2 2020 to Q3 2021)

2. PPP#1 and PPP#2 Forgiveness Applications (Forms 3508) (If you haven’t completely your forgiveness applications yet, I can help you.)

3. Payroll Journal from 3/1/20 to 10/31/21

4. Quarterly income figures for 2019 through 2021 (to substantiate revenue reduction) For 2020 there is no income reduction necessary to qualify but for 2021, the simplest way to qualify is to show a 20% reduction in revenue. If your income increased in 2021, there are other ways to qualify. If you don’t have this information readily available, I could work directly with your payroll provider, with your permission, to gather the required documents. Alternatively, I could be given temporary access to your payroll system to enable me to download the necessary forms.

Step 3 - Sign the ERC Client Engagement Agreement

Step 4 - Credit Calculation

I will strategize and calculate the maximum payroll tax refund that you can receive from the US Treasury for both years 2020 and 2021.

Step 5 - Application Package

I will prepare and file the 941-X Amended Payroll Returns.

Step 6 - You Get Paid (and then I get paid)

The US Treasury will process your refunds and mail you a check(s). You will then issue me payment as per our agreement.

If you have not done so already, please fill out the pre-qualification questionnaire here:
